Monday: Day 1: Vallarta -Tequila-Tlaquepaque.

We leave early from Puerto Vallarta, and on our way we make the first stop in the town of Tequila. This town is considered one of the Magic Villages of Mexico, and has a wonderful architecture. We will make a walk through town. There is time to see the market, the stores and why not? Try Tequila!   After Tequila we head to Tlaquepaque.  Tlaquepaque is a delightful place for shopping. With it´s upscale stores, art galleries and wonderful terraces you have no time to get bored.  In the late afternoon we check in to the hotel.

At night you are free to do your things on your own, or, if you prefer, you can join us for a group dinner (not included but very reasonable priced). We stay at Hotel Roma, right in the Historic District. All rooms have T.V., A/C, WiFi, telephone and the hotel has an outdoor swimming pool.

Tuesday Day 2: Guadalajara Walking Tour, Chapala & Ajijic

Breakfast is at 08.30 and around 09.30-10.00am, the guide will take you on a fascinating walking tour. We will show you the highlights; the Government building with the murals of Jose Clemente Orozco, the Cathedral, the Plaza Tapatia, the San Juan de Dios market and everything in between. After this interesting tour, we drive to the Chapala lake. We will visit the villages Chapala and Ajijic. Many people from the US and Canada spend the winters there; the climate is really nice and people very friendly, and houses are better priced than for example Vallarta. The area has attracted many artists lately, and is famous for the many art galleries. A must when visiting the State of Jalisco!

In the late afternoon you have more time to explore the Historic District of Guadalajara on you own or go shopping in one of the malls.

Wednesday Day 3: Guachimontones-Vallarta

Breakfast is at 7:30 AM and we will depart at 8.30 AM to go to Guachimontones, arriving around 9.30. This is one of the most important Archeological Sites of Jalisco State. It’s famous for the round piramids of 13 steps each,  as well as the “ball court” and the little museum. We will have a stop on the way for lunch (lunch not included) .  We arrive back in  Vallarta around 6:00 -7:00 PM and drop off everyone at their original pick-up point.

IMPORTANT; read our terms and conditions before making your reservation.
